Nothing gives the team at as much pleasure as helping to create a safe space for a young family to enjoy without having little ones hurt themselves on hard concrete. Yes, we even install Artificial lawns straight onto various surfaces, Concrete, Block paving and standard paving slabs and even wooden decking can be transformed into a lush green space within just a few hours. First things first the area to be grassed is cleared and cleaned to prepare a nice surface to install our lovely award-winning Chelsea artificial Grass.
There is an option to add a little more cushioning in the form of a shock pad to go on top of the hard surface and under the grass. The customer here did not request and the lawn is still perfectly safe as the pile on our Chelsea grass is very thick and lush, which is why it is popular for our customers young and old alike. Many people worry about how the lawn will drain when installed on a concrete or paved surface, however, the artificial grass is porous and drains very well no matter the surface it is installed on. The installation included a couple of joins so once the grass is rolled it the team goes about securing those joins with a glue strip and strong bond adhesive they then trim and shape the grass.
Back yards will also have drains with covers which will potentially need to be accessed and our skilled installers make this possible with expert joins almost invisible to once they are brushed in. As you can see in the photo the little boy cannot wait to play on the new lawn and who can blame him. The customers were over the moon with their new safe play area.
