Project: Remove unused pond, old paving and add some colour to a large back garden
This might look like the secret Garden but its no secret this garden had seen better days before our expert Easigrass installers got their hands on it. A 70m2 area that clearly needed some TLC. Cracked and broken paving with weeds and moss growing through it, an old unused pond that needed filling in.
Surrounded by trees and ivy topped walls this garden would soon be turned into a green and pleasant piece of land to be enjoyed by this retired couple and extended family just in time for the summer. The time-consuming jobs of filling in the pond removing the uneven paving then preparing the whole area for a new sub base was undertaken. No need for a skip as once removed from the garden we dispose of the rubble old turf and earth into our own skips and return with all the ingredients needed to transform this garden.
We consult with the customer during the quote visit and plan the works according to the instructions they give us. Once we have reached the required depth a weed guard is installed so no more pesky weeds will grow up through the grass we then compact a crushed stone and a granite dust base then our installer go about shaping the lawn following the contours of the paving and the stone borders.
By doing this the lawn looks very natural and pleasing to the eye. We then Install our fantastic Chelsea grass minimising unsightly joins using a strong bond strip and glue we then mechanically brush in the required amount of kiln dried sand to give the lawn weight and all are covered by our 8-year guarantee. The lawn surrounding is given a nice clean & this retired couple can now enjoy their garden anew for many years to come.
