Recent Project: Just moved in & want a 20m2 Easigrass Chelsea low maintenance lawn for the family to use
Some people think with a small garden its not worth getting artificial grass.
This may well be true if you get a low quality & poorly installed artificial lawn.
Many people like this couple are smart enough to call the experts with 25 years of experience behind them. Yes, Easigrass are the people to get if you want an impressive lawn of any size transformed with our multi-award-winning artificial grass.
This family had recently moved in and wanted a low maintenance garden that was presently an unloved muddy mess.
The install team begins by removing the tired old lawn down to the optimum depth to start the task of preparing our Easigrass subbase.
This doesn’t take long with our turf cutter and our hardworking teams. The geotextile weed barrier is trimmed into the lawn area as no-one likes to weed a lawn, even an artificial one.
The crushed stone is then compacted on top of the weed barrier ready for the next layer.
Easigrass don’t use sharp sand that will compact when wet we use granite dust to give a firm base with no subsidence to leave puddles on the new artificial lawn.
This is screeded and packed ready for the introduction of the new Royal Horticultural Society awarded Chelsea grass lauded for its authentic pile and look.
This is then shaped and cut, and a timber edge for the fence line is hidden by the new grass and pinned into place.
A layer of silica sand is the mechanically brushed deep into the pile of the grass to give it weight and the lawn is given a gentle hosing down.
The paths from the front to the back of this home are cleaned along with any paving and the customers are invited to inspect the new lawn with big smiles all round.
